thereuare Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 It's all about giving your friends what they want.Since you know this area well, is there another town within this zone that has a higher tax rate than 11.5% (which is the tax rate of the Grosvenor)? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
runNgun Posted November 28, 2005 Author Report Posted November 28, 2005 no, I don't think so. My understanding is hotwire pulls tax info from the hotel's GDS (Global Distribution System), which in this case is Utell. The hotel loads the info into the Utell system so my guess is a data entry error on the hotels part which in the end gets them some extra revenue.
