Hi everyone,

First time user of Hot.wire and I think I have a good deal in Barcelona, Spain:

Dates: 7 - 14 August 2014

Stars: 4.5

Location: Forum - Poblenou - Beachfront

Cost: $110 per night

Hotwire Recommends: 85% of 39 reviews

Trip Advisor rating: 4/5

I think it may be the Hilton Diagonal Mar or the Hotel SB Diagonal Zero Hotel

Welcome to BetterBidding!

I don't have any insight as to which one this may be, but i think the Hotel SB Diagonal Zero Barcelona is less likely. I did think the Melia Sky was a possibility... but they don't appear to be pet friendly.

Since this an extended stay you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.

There are not too many 4.5* hotels in that area however and the Hilton and the Melia are both not pet friendly. Also the SB Diagonal has a review from May 2014 saying that the person got a great deal on a top secret locator site so it may be that one.

We have decided to not go for this hotel. I am almost certain that it is the SB Diagonal and it has a poor pool area. The Hilton would have been great but it is almost certainly not the Hilton and the other alternative, the Melia Sky, has some mixed reviews on Tripadvisor. We would like a reasonably good pool area so we decided not to go for this offer
