auntmatilda
I wanted a room in downtown Memphis. They had a room listed as $249 for $139. The Madison was the only hotel in downtown with $249 rooms. Then they said "hurry! The last person got the Madison!" I thought they were trying to trick folks. I went for it anyway and sure enough I got the Madison. Was this just coincidence or do they at times basically tell you the hotel? I'm looking to book another room in downtown Memphis and they are doing the same thing with the Peabody. The reviews about the hotel even mention the Peabody. Thanks in advance. Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding and thanks for your post. Can you please add your win to the board as a NEW TOPIC so that others will be aware of your win when searching the topic titles on the board and in the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins. In your post please include the star rating, city, zone, hotel name, room rate per nite, dates of your stay and amenities shown before your purchase... you can still view all of this information by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page. As far as your post above, the "Last person got ___" info is in reference to the the last purchase of a hotel at that star rating in the zone... not the specific hotel currently offered. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Thanks! Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
