4.5 Star hotel in the wailea makena area.  Regular price is $749.  Priced at $291 November 15-22.  Any thoughts on what this may be?

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

I'm not certain of the 4.5* but the Grand Wailea Resort would be my best guess for this one... for the 4* my guess would be the Makena Beach and Golf Resort.
