shelly3282 Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Hello All, I am brand new to priceline and I need to book my hotel for NYC as soon as possible. I was hoping to get some input. I currently see there is a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for Midtown West at $205 a night, it shows that it has 4 stars, and it is pet friendly, fitness center, free internet, and a business center. It also shows that there is bed choice available. I was wondering if you would be able to help in determining what hotel this could be? I was also considering putting in a bid for either Midtown West or Midtown East for $200 a night for a 4 1/2 star hotel for NYOP. Is it possible that when you are selecting that option you can determine what hotel they will be giving you? Thank you!!!
thereuare Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Welcome to BetterBidding! For the PRICELINE EXPRESS property is there also a RESTAURANT amenity listed, as i'm seeing a 4* hotel in the MTW zone for $205/nite but it has these amenities: Free Internet in room Pets Allowed Restaurant Business Center Fitness Center ... my best guess for this one would be the Algonquin Hotel. When bidding on PRICELINE there is no way to guess, target, or avoid the hotel that you may receive. You can see all hotels reported to the board in each zone in our Priceline Hotel List, but note the comments at the top of the hotel list as the lists only contain hotels that have been reported to the board and you could receive something not yet reported to the board. If you go for the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer above let us know how it goes... or if you'd like help with a PRICELINE bidding strategy let us know your desired star rating, acceptable zones, and maximum bid, and we will advise accordingly. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Good luck! Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
