Hotwire Hotel: 5* Las Vegas North Strip

Hotwire has a 5* North Strip hotel for $88 from 8/28 - 8/30 with the following amenities:

 

*** Free Parking, Free Internet, Spa Services, Resort, Pet friendly, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Kitchenette

 

Since I do not see "casino" listed, my first thought is Trump International.

 

However, the crossed out price on Hotwire is $349/nt which is the price of the Encore on TripAdvisor for those nights.  The price for Trump is $111/nt for those nights.

 

Thoughts?

That is a bummer.  This is a guy's football trip, so a casino-less hotel is not going to work.

 

What is interesting is that HotWire lists 4 different 5* North Strip hotels for those dates with 3 different striked out prices:  $349, $189, $189, $374.  I assumed the middle two were the Venetian and the Palazzo since they are priced at $189 on TripAdvisor with a $139 price on Hot.Wire, but I guess that may not be the case.  :-)  

 

I will definitely update this thread if we do decide to move forward with one of those options.

Thank you for the offer.  We need to book something because we already have plane tickets. 

 

There are 10 of us going, so we will need 5 rooms checking in Thurs August 28th and checking out Saturday Aug 30th.  

 

We prefer to stay on the strip and are trying to keep the budget in the < $120/nt range.  

 

One other caveat is that 3 of the guys are staying Saturday night, too.  I think they plan on sharing 1 room that night.  I'm not sure how that would work going through HotWire or PriceLine, but they do realize they will pay quite a bit more for that Saturday night stay.

PS- as far as the Saturday nite, they will need to make a separate purchase for that nite and will (likely) need to change hotels for that nite... if changing hotels is not an option then they can book the Saturday nite direct at whatever property is received for the 5 rooms for the first two nite.
