thereuare Posted July 3, 2014 Report Posted July 3, 2014 Welcome to BetterBidding! The Park Plaza County Hall London would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
mondofrog Posted July 4, 2014 Author Report Posted July 4, 2014 Thank you very much for your help. The Park Plaza County Hall London seems to be a good match. However, the location does not seem all that inspiring despite being centrally located - right on the traffic loop by Waterloo Station - so I am passing on buying at this time. Thanks again! Jon

thereuare Posted July 4, 2014 Report Posted July 4, 2014 However, the location does not seem all that inspiring...If you're looking for a hotel in a specific location you can also try our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com which will show hotels near almost any address in the world, and the sort/filter options and the interface make it easy to see how much more/less it would cost to go up/down in star rating or to stay closer/further from your ideal location. Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or how we can be of further help. mondofrog Posted July 11, 2014 Author Report Posted July 11, 2014 Hello, I am trying to identify the following Hotwire listed London hotel, 3.5* Westminster - Victoria - Big Ben area 7/31 - 8/5/2014 $275 USD 2 Adults, 1 Child FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Indoor pool(s), Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self service laundry, Internet access, Tennis Nearby, Kitchenette, Spa Services Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Jon.
thereuare Posted July 11, 2014 Report Posted July 11, 2014 I'm not sure which 3.5* hotel this one is, but if you're willing to pay $277/nite for a 3.5* property, why not go for the 4.5* hotel in the same zone for $280/nite ($3/nite to go from a 3.5* --> 4.5* would seem like a great deal). Not only is the 4.5* higher rated for only a few dollars more, it also has an impressive 4.5/5.0 TA rating, so it should be of very high quality. The amenities i'm seeing for the 4.5* are: Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Spa Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Roll-in Shower ... my guess for this one would be the St. James' Court, a Taj Hotel, London. Does this work for your needs? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. mondofrog Posted July 11, 2014 Author Report Posted July 11, 2014 Thanks once more for such a quick reply. I am pushing my budget at this rate and what is attractive about the 3.5* is the kitchenette and free internet. Plus my family would like the pool (though not expecting much there.) The Taj St James seems to be a good match for the 4.5* but they seem to be sold out through normal channels.Jon
thereuare Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 I gave the 3.5* property with a Kitchenette another look and the Dolphin House seems to have all the amenities listed so that would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. mondofrog Posted July 12, 2014 Author Report Posted July 12, 2014 I went and booked the 3.5* and it was indeed the Dolphin House! Thank you very much for your advice and assistance! I will definitely recommend BetterBidding.com and use in the future to book through Hot.wire or Price.line! Jon
