The General Question I have is when they say the last buyer got - So and So Hotel  - what can you read into that -  the hotels seemingly fit the profile but also seem to be the most attractive hotel in that area with that profile.  What percentage of the time do you get that hotel or is it a marketing trick.

The "last person got" is the last hotel won at that star rating in that zone. It's not necessarily the underlying hotel.

 

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOT.WIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.
