wspooner
I am looking for a resort in Cancun for August 27-31. We'd love an all inclusive hotel but will forgo that if we find something not inclusive that's really nice . I'm not sure what area would be best to stay in (Isla Mujeres, North or South Hotel Zone?). I've looked at both Priceline and Hotwire and feel a little overwhelmed with the choices.Any help appreciated!! Link to comment
yellowdog
Please provide a follow-up for your prior Hotwire Jackson Hole and Washington DC Hotwire threads (post in each thread what you decided for the stays), then reply to this thread and we'll be happy to look into the above. Please follow-up your threads with whatever you end up doing, even if you chose to book direct, cancel your trip, etc. Please use the PRICELINE and hot.wire links on the board to begin your purchases and searches. AaronJB
What would be your desired budget per night for this stay? In terms of where, are there places you've planned on visiting/researched and want to be near? Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. wspooner
Our desired budget is $250/night or less. We may try to do a day trip to Chichen Itza or Xcaret, but for the most part we just want to hang out on the beach/pools at the resort. Link to comment
thereuare
HOTWIRE has an all-inclusve 4.5* hotel in the Hotel Zone - Convention Center zone with a 95% recommendation from previous guests and a 4.5/5.0 TA rating, which at $196/nite is well within your budget: Complimentary Breakfast Free Internet Resort Beachfront Food and Beverages ala Carte Water Sports Evening Entertainment Daily Activities Childrens Activities Fitness Restaurant Hi-Speed Internet Golf Tennis Spa ... my guess for this property would be the Riu Palace Peninsula. thereuare
I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above?
