kennyd264 Posted June 30, 2014 Author Report Posted June 30, 2014 July 15 -19$149/nt if entered 3 adults + 1 child$131/nt if entered 2 adults + 2 child (traveling with 2 kids but was thinking of using 3 adults to eliminate "kids use existing parents bedding" scenario) reducing nites either at front or at end, increases rate. Looked at Crown Plaza, Novotel, 25Hours, Mercure but could not identify the hotel Thanks
thereuare Posted June 30, 2014 Report Posted June 30, 2014 I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you also see an INTERNET ACCESS amenity associated with this property? (in addition to the Free Internet amenity already listed)If so, a property with this amenity set has not yet been reported to the board, but the Novotel Zurich City-West looks like a good fit and that would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. kennyd264 Posted July 1, 2014 Author Report Posted July 1, 2014 Yes, Internet Access and Free Internet are two different amenities listed. Business Center is listed. Based on price, my guess was Novotel too but Hot.wire agent seem to insist that 3 adults +1 Child would be accommodated whereas the hotel itself seem to indicate otherwise. (unless one consider comfy armchair as bed) Have never used Hot.wire before and hence don't know how good they are about occupancy match. (price certainly beats bidding for two Price.Line rooms and avoids splitting family)
thereuare Posted July 1, 2014 Report Posted July 1, 2014 The Novotel offers rooms with a 'double bed and convertible sofabed'... this would satisfy their requirement for a room that can accommodate quad occupancy. kennyd264 Posted July 2, 2014 Author Report Posted July 2, 2014 Thanks for your help. Novotel actually says sofa bed or comfy armchair (for the category whose price fluctuation and availability correlates perfectly with Hotwire) Executive class room does assure sofa bed but they are higher price and may not be the one hotwire is offering. Will continue to look for alternatives but as a backup reserved an alternate using points. If I end up going via Hot.wire route, will certainly use your link and report back. Thanks for taking time to help out. Appreciate it.
