Hotwire Hotel: 5*and 4* Kensington - Shepherds Bush - Westfield London area jul 25-28

Just went through the link and pulled up two hotels that are interesting in Kensington for the 25JUL- 28JUL. 

The 5* lists amenities as:

 Restaurant(s)

 Business Center
 Internet access
 Spa Services

It shows as "still getting reviews" and is 198 per night.

 

The 4* lists amenities as:

Fitness Center
  Restaurant(s)
  Business Center
  Self service laundry
Internet access

It shoes as 60% recommended and is 144 per night.

 

My search was for 2 adults, London, 25JUL-28JUL. I prefer Kensington area.

 

Any ideas on what hotels these may be?

 

BTW, thank you for this forum. As a flight attendant I refer this to all my coworkers. I book through it several times per year.

A 5* property with this amenity set has not yet been reported to the board, but the Bentley London or the Royal Garden would be my best guess for this one.

My guess for the 4* would be the Copthorne Tara Hotel.

You might consider bidding for this one?  There are an even dozen reported 4* hotels for Kensington, and only one of those is lower rated than the Copthorne Tara (Priceline retail side ratings).   Your odds are pretty good for getting a better hotel at a lower price.

 

On the other hand, I've stayed at the Copthorne Tara a couple times and gotten along just fine with it.  I did learn though that the rooms get nicer higher up.  If you get it, do ask for a higher floor.
