stas12 Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 Hi, Me and my wife would like to travel to NY in september from the 10th ti the 19th.We would like to stay at 4* hotel in one of the following regions: Time square - theatre district (especially the Marquis hotel)Central Park SouthMidtown West What would be a good bidding strategy for getting a good hotel at a good price? Also, what price should I anticipate for this dates? Thanks
AaronJB Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 Welcome to Betterbidding. )Unfortunately, there is no way to increase the odds of a particular property via the discount services. However, with Hot.wire and Price.line Express, you are at least able to make educated guesses as to what listings may be so you can look for something among what is offered that may be more appealing. You can see the list of hotels that have been reported to the board by clicking "Need help?" in the upper corner and then clicking "see hotel lists." What would be your desired budget per night for this stay? In these zones, for a 3.5-4* you're likely looking at at least $215-235, depending on the zone and star rating. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
stas12 Posted June 28, 2014 Author Report Posted June 28, 2014 Hi.. I must have luck today, I won the marquis for 231$ per night. Thanks.
AaronJB Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 Congrats on your success. :) Extremely lucky - great deal for this property that isn't seen that often as a win. Glad you were able to get the hotel you were hoping for. Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches. Enjoy your stay.
