Priceline Hotel: 4* Express Deal

When a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal states that "bed choice is available" and you can select a 2 double beds option, does PRICELINE guarantee this request? The terms on their website (Express Deal section) states that Express Deals are guaranteed for double occupancy...bedding type maybe selected for certain Express Deals. Has anyone used this option and had success, or issues with your bedding request at check-in?

I don't know of any issues where a user did not receive the room type indicated on a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal. I think PRICELINE adds the 'requested' part next to the room type to account for the rare instances where 'things happen' (hotel overbooks, a guest refuses to vacate on day previously indicated, rooms need to be take out of service (ie- a flood/sprinkler head breaks), etc) and the requested room is not available. As we haven't had any PRICELINE EXPRESS reports such instances i don't know how PRICELINE would handle it, and it would likely be handled on a case-by-case basis, but i would they they would likely offer a refund if you wanted (especially since many of these rooms cost a premium so the hotel would not simply be able to offer a substitution)

For the Downtown property if you click the offer do you see a further clarification of the 'Free Internet' amenity and it is listed as Free Internet in public areas? If so, my best guess for this one would be the New York Marriott Downtown... for the MTE property my guess would be the One UN New York (previously the the Millennium UN Plaza Hotel)
