smm1020 Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 Hi! My husband, sister and I will be going to Chicago on Friday for a concert and then a Cubs game on Saturday. I have pondered and pondered using Hotwire but I am nervous I am going to get a crappy hotel. Anyway, right now I am seeing a 4* for Downtown - Millennium Park - Grant Park area for $168. Seems like a pretty good deal! 90% recommend with 1321 total reviews. Amenities are Pet friendly Indoor pool(s) Smoke Free Rooms Fitness CenterPool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Self service laundryInternet accessAny help would be greatly appreciated. Also needing parking suggestions. Thanks so much,Shannan
AaronJB Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 Welcome to Betterbidding. :) A few thoughts: 1. Please confirm the exact date/s of travel. 2. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? 3. While it may not work that well if you're staying out late, the suburbs are often significantly cheaper than the city. Given how expensive parking is, free parking in the burbs also adds to the savings. Let me know if this is of interest. Thank you for using the board's HOT.WIRE or PRICE.LINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 I'll also add: 4. Are you including 3adults in your HOTWIRE search? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
smm1020 Posted June 25, 2014 Author Report Posted June 25, 2014 Hello! Date will be June 27-June 28 Full amenities found on BiddingHelper.com are FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Indoor pool(s), Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self service laundry, Internet access, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower Yep, I included 3 adults in the search.
AaronJB Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 My guess would be the Hilton. You could probably stay in the North burbs in something comparable for $55-60 +/- a few dollars, plus free parking. In terms of downtown, parking is going to be very expensive at all hotels ($50-60 and in some hotels, closer to $70) Garages are going to be less expensive (including the Millennium Park garages), but still not cheap. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

Diwd Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 I'm pretty sure it is the Hilton Chicago based on a similar reservation I made.
yellowdog Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 Diwd Welcome to BetterBidding!
