yellowdog Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 Welcome to BetterBidding! Please post your date(s) for the stay and we'll be happy to take a look at this. I believe there may have been more amenities than you listed in your post. HOTWIRE has a new interface which is not currently showing the complete set of amenities at the usual point of the search process. Please run a new search using our BiddingHelper.com tool at the top of this page. Once the search is completed, use the EASY VIEW TAB and click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing to view the complete set of amenities. Then copy and paste the amenities, as well as the price, in a reply to this thread and we will then have a look at this offer. Please use the PRICELINE and hot.wire links on the board to begin your purchases and searches. Yellowdog.

AaronJB Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 I'm not seeing this listing when searching this morning for these dates, 2 rooms and 3 per room. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
bpanzer1 Posted June 25, 2014 Author Report Posted June 25, 2014 I just checked it and it was the top listing... actually went down to $122/ night Searching 2 rooms - 2 adults 4 kids (total) 90% satisfaction rating ?? if that helps Our issue is we dont want to be in the loop - we are OK with just south of the river
AaronJB Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 I'd guess maybe the Swiss. It says when I click on the listing "last person got Swissotel Premier". The "last person got..." is not necessarily the underlying hotel, it's just the last hotel that someone bought at that star rating in general. It does appear that the Swiss may be listing their premium rooms separately, but overall this listing has not been ID'd/confirmed for certain. I'm seeing a 4.5* in the Mag Mile N-Water Tower area w/Pet friendlyIndoor pool(s)Smoke Free RoomsFitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterInternet accessAccessible path of travelIn-room accessibilityAccessible bathroomRoll-in showerfor $138. I'd guess this would be the Omni. For $16 more per night, bigger rooms and better location. Understandable not wanting to be in the Loop. I was downtown last weekend and it's rather remarkable how much is not open in the West half of the Loop on Saturday and/or Sunday. If you do take the 4.5* and it does turn out to be the Swiss (again, not certain), there is a beautiful park that they built nearby next to the Mariano's grocery (which is great, as well) - nice little park for a picnic. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 I was researching this as AaronJB was replying so i'll add that i agree with his guess... the Swissotel Chicago upgraded to the 4.5* level since it was last reported to the board would be my guess as well. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
