atruschel Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 Tried 2.5 * at $33 for this one area, Renton/Kent, hoping to get Hilton Garden Inn. Failed. Tried this morning, 3 days later, at $35 and was "upgraded" to Holiday Inn Select 3*s for 12/23-12/29/2005.A little bummed, but not devastated as I'd researched this forum and knew that was the gamble. It's got the basics we needed (high-speed, transpo to airport the morning we leave, fitness room, HBO, an outdoor hot tub(?)). At $35/night I can't really complain. Just for the record, the Hilton Garden Inn has all of the above plus an indoor pool, free breakfast, and a micro and refrig as well. Still very happy at not having to stay with relatives or overtaxed friends and to have our own space over the holidays!!
