It tooks several more bids and a date change to finally get this rate for more than one night. I booked for one night at the Clarion (2 star). Then two night at the PRICELINE site. Cons/Struggle for us: Hard to get three nights at $120. Best Western Bayside is about 2.5 miles from downtown Oakland, not much to walk to. Win! Rate at Best West better than 2-star rate at the Clarion. Better quality hotel. Free breakfast and free parking!!! Great views from suites on the waterside. Walking path for guests. Free shuttle within 3 miles of hotel 8am-midnight. 4 1/2 stars on TripAdvisor and Yelp (which is a good sign). I will post more on my parents experience on this site.
