Hotwire Hotel: 3.5* Chicago (Northbrook - Glenview - Mt Prospect) Hyatt Deerfield

I am looking to book 2 rooms for one night in the north Chicago area for June 19, we will be 4 adults and three small children.  There is a 3.5 star in the Northbrook-Glenview- Mt. Prospect area for $68 with a 95% recommended rating.  Looking in the IL hotwire postings, seems like this might be the Hyatt Deerfield.  Wondering how this would do to accomodate a group that size.  Any thoughts on this?  Thanks

Yes,  my search was for 2 rooms, 4 adults and 3 children.  When I ran it again, it showed at $67.  Amenities are as follows:

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? Using this method, this is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for this property:

The Hyatt Deerfield rooms are larger than normal (not a suite, but certainly above-average.) Most rooms do have refrigerators. I've stayed at this property a few times and REALLY think it's a very nice deal for the kind of HOTWIRE/PRICELINE rates it often goes for. It was also renovated not that long ago.

 

I'm very familiar with this area, so please let me know if you have questions about the area (sights, restaurants, etc etc.)

 

If you are going downtown, there's a Metra station just down the road a bit. If not, this is a very nice area to just browse around and there are a few family-friendly attractions, such as Wagner Farm (http://www.glenviewparks.org/facilities-parks/wagner-farm/)

My guess would be the Westin North Shore, with the Sheraton Northbrook being a less likely possibility, as well. I think either result is a very nice option.
