Priceline Hotel: Help with ATL downtown

Hi.

I am looking for a 4 star in downtown ATL for 7/18 and 7/19. 2 adults and 2 children. I need a pool and walking distance to Centennial Park and Marta.Would love to be able to bid and get a great price, but I am wondering if it would be smarter for me to use hotwire instead so I can guarantee 2 beds. Also, on Priceline Express, if the ammeneties show "bed choice" am I guranteed to be able to get 2 beds? What would you do? Thanks!

Few issues to discuss...

Hot.wire would be the better option as you can guarantee occupancy for 4 guests, whereas PRICELINE would only ensure double occupancy.

With both PRICELINE and HOTWIRE you can receive a hotel anywhere within the boundaries of the zone, but with HOTWIRE you can try to take a guess as to which hotel you will receive (which can help you know where within the zone you will be), whereas with PRICELINE there is no way to target/guess the hotel beforehand and therefore not know where in the zone you'll end up... so given you have location requirements within the zone (close to Centennial Park and a Marta station) it would seem HOTWIRE would again be the better option for this stay.

How old are your kids? (ie- how far are they able to walk before they start to complain? ;) ) What is your expected budget per nite for this trip?
