dmf3258 Posted June 7, 2014 Report Posted June 7, 2014 Hey everyone, Ive named my price before in NYC and got a pretty good deal. I am looking to get a room that is "5 star vegas strip north" obviously they cannot tell me what hotels I have the possibility to get....and of course I need a casino. Anyone know what the hotels are? Any suggestions/tips? Much appreciated!Matt

dmf3258 Posted June 8, 2014 Author Report Posted June 8, 2014 I was bidding on "5 Star north strip" and went as high as $120 per night and still no luck.....i am going 8/7-8/11, thought I would be able to get it by now. I am really trying to not spend too much on the room since I go to gamble. Any advice anyone???
fingolfin269 Posted June 8, 2014 Report Posted June 8, 2014 Have you checked the Priceline.Express Deals? Using the SUMMER14 coupon (5% off) it looks like you can get Venetian for ~$125/night.
thereuare Posted June 8, 2014 Report Posted June 8, 2014 dmf3258, Is the South Strip zone acceptable as well or do you only want to stay in the Strip North zone? If you're avoiding the Strip South zone HOTWIRE has a 5* hotel (with Casino) for $114/nite: Free Parking Resort Casino Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... best guess for this one would be the Aria. Would this work for your needs? If not, would you be willing to pay $125/nite for a 5* in the Strip North zone? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. dmf3258 Posted June 8, 2014 Author Report Posted June 8, 2014 First, thank you for the help so far. The 125 per night for the venetian is good, but I was trying to stay a little lower on the price. I like a few of the other packages, like the 4.5 star in south vicinity but I am just afraid I will end up at the Trop. Ive always stayed MGM and Ballys, looking to step it up a notch, my main concern is a nice sports book and tables that can still offer $5 minimums. Any suggestions would help!
thereuare Posted June 8, 2014 Report Posted June 8, 2014 It's your lucky day! (better save some of that for Vegas :P ) Currently on PRICELINE EXPRESS there is a 5* hotel in the Strip North zone with: Outdoor Pool Free Parking Restaurant Business Center Casino Fitness Center Condo ... best guess would be the Palazzo. This property is PRICELINE EXPRESS offer is priced at $116/nite, using the discount link and code in my signature takes another 5% OFF, and brings this down to $110/nite... less than you have already bid. Does this work for your plans? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. dmf3258 Posted June 8, 2014 Author Report Posted June 8, 2014 I think that we are going to look more 4-4.5 star range, we dont want to do palazzo or venetian anymore because of the cantor gaming. Any thoughts of what hotels we would get on priceline or hotwire at the 4 to 4.5 star range and price?

thereuare Posted June 8, 2014 Report Posted June 8, 2014 The BiddingHelper.com is your friend :) What is the room rate per nite of each, as i'm not seeing either of these on my own search for your dates (i can guess based upon the amenities listed, but if you're missing just one amenity it could change our guess entirely, so i'd prefer to be able to confirm that the complete amenity set is there by seeing the same property on my own search).
