Darknessxk Posted June 5, 2014 Report Posted June 5, 2014 Hey everyone, looking for some help ID's this hotel 4 Star Hotel Millennium Park, Loop & Grant Park Area Pets Allowed Fitness Center Business Center 8.0+ Ratings My best guess is the Fairmont. Does that seem like a fair estimate? Thanks for the help! Edit* Wow, just realized I didn't put the price... it is 100$ per night!
AaronJB Posted June 5, 2014 Report Posted June 5, 2014 The Hilton, Fairmont, Radisson Blu, Blackstone Renaissance, Hard Rock and W City Center all have these amenities. The W has a lower rating, so that would be out. While not guaranteed, I'd lean towards the Fairmont as that has been seen with this amenity set previously. Darknessxk Posted June 5, 2014 Author Report Posted June 5, 2014 Awesome. Thanks for the quick reply. It was indeed the Fairmont. Correction, title should say Millennium Park, Loop & Grant Park Area. Seems like I was too excited to proofread :P

AaronJB Posted June 5, 2014 Report Posted June 5, 2014 In terms of breakfast, Wildberry is a nice option right by your hotel at 130 E Randolph. Let me know if you have any city questions. Enjoy your stay.
Darknessxk Posted June 9, 2014 Author Report Posted June 9, 2014 Thanks for the suggestion. Will have to check it out. Do you have a recommendation of where to watch the navy pier fireworks? First time going to Chicago for the 4th and I'm assuming it will be impossible to get into the navy pier. I'd also rather not try and fight the huge crowd that will be there.
AaronJB Posted June 9, 2014 Report Posted June 9, 2014 Wildberry is a great option right there for breakfast. However, if you head a little further, there's a ton of other options. If you would like further recommendations, please let us know likes/dislikes/any other details. I used to recommend some of the fireworks displays in the suburbs, where you could sit on the beach and enjoy the show over the lake. However, laws have changed and they can't launch from on the lake anymore. These will still likely be really nice shows, but there was something really nice about being able to sit on the beach. In terms of Navy Pier, if you walk a block or so North to the river, you should be able to look East and see Navy Pier and the fireworks. Closer to NP, you should be able to stand in the park in front of Navy Pier's front entrance and see the show - it's still going to be crowded, but not quite as bad as on the pier. If you walk North of your hotel a block to the river, you should see a staircase down to the street below and you can then cross the river on Columbus and go from there. That's an alternative to having to walk over to Michigan Ave and then head North. Enjoy your stay.
