keo Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 We are looking to book a 4+ hotel in Soho. I've checked out the hotel lists, but wanted to know what would be a decent opening bid and any thoughts on the hotels available through Price.line.
AaronJB Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Welcome to Betterbidding. :) What would be your desired max budget per night for this stay? Is Soho the only acceptable zone? In terms of hotels, you have to be willing to accept any hotel in the zones chosen at the star rating selected. Additionally, the Priceline hotel list provides hotels previously reported to the board - but new hotels can appear at any time. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
keo Posted June 4, 2014 Author Report Posted June 4, 2014 Should have been more specific, sorry, learning how to do this. I was hoping not to pay no more than $300 per room (plus taxes), and really want to focus on Soho. Any thoughts for an opening bid?
thereuare Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 If you start by searching PRICELINE EXPRESS you'll see offered the following in this zone: 4* $236/nite 4.5* $261/nite 5* $367/nite ... using the discount link and code in my signature would bring these down to $224, $248, and $349 respectively. Given these rates, which star rating would you like to try for first? We could then use the price for that star rating as a maximum bid and proceed accordingly. Let us know your thoughts/comments and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
