azpokerkid Posted June 3, 2014 Report Posted June 3, 2014 I'm looking on Priceline.Express and found a 4* in Downtown - Harbor Front area in Boston for $239. It has the following amenities: Pet Friendly Restaurant Business Center I thought it might be the Langham but it was listed as a 4.5* in the hotel list. Any help would be great!
thereuare Posted June 3, 2014 Report Posted June 3, 2014 I don't think this is the Langham... difficult to have too much confidence with so few (and common) amenities showing, but the Hilton Boston Downtown-Faneuil Hall or the Ames Boston would be my guess for this one. azpokerkid Posted June 3, 2014 Author Report Posted June 3, 2014 Thanks. Family of 4 traveling and the Langham with 550 SQFT suites would be perfect. (I have a backup suite booked at The Boxer for $272) I can't risk some of the others downtown that have 125 SQFT rooms with 1 double bed.
AaronJB Posted June 3, 2014 Report Posted June 3, 2014 Suites at the Langham are an upgrade - PRICELINE and HOTWIRE reservations are only eligible for regular/non-upgraded rooms (you can ask about upgrades, but no guarantees.) Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted June 3, 2014 Report Posted June 3, 2014 I don't know the quality of the hotel that you have booked as a back-up, but if you search for HOTWIRE you ensure sleeping accommodations for everyone in your group; while this usually means two beds, the second 'bed' could be a pullout sofabed, rollaway brought into the room, etc. When searching for 2a/2c HOTWIRE has what appears to be the Westin Copley Plaza for $245/nite which is both well reviewed and well located, if this is of any interest vs. your back-up reservation.
