cewiebe
How can I be sure to get a room that will sleep 4 in NYC, either on Hotwire or Priceline? Link to comment
thereuare
With Priceline you can't.With Hotwire you can search for quad occupancy which will guarantee sleeping accomodations for everyone that you included on your search (ie- 4 poeple). However, this can include pull-out sofas and the like, not necessarily two beds. cewiebe
I wasn't as lucky. We need 2 rooms for 11/24 to 11/27, 2005, so I tried this bid at $120, was rejected. I added another zone and upped it to $125, rejected again. Added another zone, then another, just got rejected at $135 a night for a 4* in all New York zones. I know that's low but thought I'd try based on this priceline win. We actually need a room for 4, so I hoped I could get 2 for the price of 1. Doesn't always work. Link to comment
thereuare
Based upon that other thread... why don't you try to SPLIT YOUR BID.It would seem that you'd have a chance for a low rate for 2 out of 3 nites of your stay... you'll have to change hotels mid-stay, but at least you'll be comfortable and have a great deal for these nites.
