Please start by reading your messages.

This property has not yet been reported to the board and with so few amenities i don't have any additional insight for this one.

Since this an extended stay you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.

I will also add that if you change your search to 2adults/2children a different 3* hotel is offered in this zone with:

Free Parking

Complimentary Breakfast

Free Internet

Pet Friendly

Indoor Pool

Fitness

Pool

Business

Laundry

Wheelchair Accessible

... my best guess for this one would be the Clubhouse Inn and Suites Westmont, although the Residence Inn by Marriott Chicago Oak Brook or the Holiday Inn Oakbrook would be second guess possibilities as well. (you could also do the same first/last nite purchase with this property as well... although this one also shows a 4.0/5.0 TA rating, so it should be a 'good' property and is generally well regarded)

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.

My guess for this one would be the Comfort Suites Oakbrook Terrace.

However, as a property with this amenity set has not yet been reported to the board, and since this an extended stay, if you wanted to play it safe you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.

Thanks! Could it be the ClubHouse Inn and Suites?

When I try to do the one night way like you were talking about, the guest rating is 7+ rather than 8/10.

Sorry... i think earlier i saw the 7.0/10.0 property on my search, but i now see the 8.0/10.0 reviewed property, which my best guess would be the Clubhouse Inn Westmont (changing from my previous guess of the Comfort Suites, which can't be this 8.0/10.0 property since the Comfort Suites is currently only 7.3/10.0 rated)

There is no set time frame in which PRICELINE releases coupons. There have been more lately, but there's no way to know if another one won't be for a while.

The risk in waiting for another 10% coupon is that prices could rise and/or the listing of interest could be replaced by something that's not as appealing. There is the current 5% OFF discount link and code in my signature below that should work.

Oh ok, also I would need the hotel for 10/24 but priceline only lets me book it till 10/19 since its the max number of days....is there any way to extend the price for one more week?

Please let us know what you decide regarding this period, then we'll look into availability for the additional date/s in a new thread. $42 is definitely a very reasonable rate for this area, which is quite nice.  The Morton Arboretum nearby is a gorgeous place to visit, as well.

When searching for Oak Brook for 10/19-24, I'm seeing a 2.5* w/breakfast, internet, pool, fitness, business for $45 in Oak Brook-Lombard-Downers Grove.

Are you going to wait to book both periods?

There is no way to know if another 10% will be coming along anytime soon, personally I'd recommend taking the 5%. I would keep checking rates. You can also use our other service, ratedrop.com, to get alerts if prices drop, although I don't think you're going to see much - if any - downside on a $45 rate for 2.5* in this zone. As noted above, this deal could also go away while you are waiting and/or the price may rise.

I'm a member, not somebody official with this board.

But I'd vote for going ahead with this deal using the 5% coupon.  The 10% and 15% ones did show up briefly, but they really are very rare.

We are talking about a very little over $2/day here between the 5% coupon and the 10% coupon, and a little over $4 a day between the 5% and the 15% ones.  The 5% one will expire shortly and might not be back, so it could actually cost you more by waiting.

For that matter, the Priceline.Express deal could go away.  A well-rated hotel with free breakfast is a good catch.

I'll also add that we have seen two different properties appear/disappear for these dates, one higher rated than the other (8.0 vs. 7.0)... is the higher rated property worth $2/day? If so, i'd take the deal now as that one could disappear at any time and you'd be left with the lower rated property for roughly the same price. As well, this is an extended stay, and should hotels get busy for even just one nite of this extended stay and not offer inventory for this one nite, both of these hotels could disappear entirely and only leave you with much more expensive options.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. (and please note the user review rating and amenities of the one you ultimately end up purchasing)

Good luck and let us know how it goes once you decide to move forward.
