Priceline Hotel: bid strategy for 4* sfo burlingame 6/6 - 6/9/2014

I have seen it posted that this area is best to bid late.  Since it is  a Friday check in instead of Saturday when is the best time to bid if I would like to win at under $100 preferably 80 - 90.  The current hotel websites are hyatt 180, marriott 159, westin 172, hilton 149

You could start at $75 and work up by $5's using re-bidding, but I do think this may end up taking a few dollars higher than $100. Still, it's worth starting lower and hopefully you will get an acceptance in the $85-95 area.

 

There is a 4* for $112 in this zone in the priceline.Express Deals section and SUMMER14 takes 5% off, so if you get up to around that point, that's an alternative option.

Sorry for late update but continued bidding through day of arrival and was never successful up tp $90 per night so stayed in San Jose at my bakup plan hotel at $75 per night.
