lucasas Posted May 23, 2014 Report Posted May 23, 2014 I'm planning a trip to NYC from 9/4 to 9/12/14 and hoping to stay in Times Square area at 3.5* or higher. I intend to spend $100 per night. Is it a reasonable value?
yellowdog Posted May 23, 2014 Report Posted May 23, 2014 Welcome to BetterBidding! I'm sorry to say that your budget is not enough for your dates. My guess would be that you're looking at approx $200+/night 3.5* or higer with current rates. Would you be OK to include Midtown Est and Midtown West in the mix? Let us know your thoughts and we'll go from there. Please use the PRICELINE and hot.wire links on the board to begin your purchases and searches. Yellowdog.
lucasas Posted May 23, 2014 Author Report Posted May 23, 2014 Hi yellowdog, Would be OK include Midtown Est and Midtown West just if the price is $100. Is it enough to get a hotel there?
thereuare Posted May 23, 2014 Report Posted May 23, 2014 Unfortunately your budget is not realistic for these dates... Use our bidding helper to search for your dates: In the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab select only 3.5* and higher hotels and then click the PRICE link at the top of the hotel offers... what is the least expensive hotel in Manhattan? Repeat the above using the PRICELINE EXPRESS tab. Lastly, you can use our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com (search for '1 mile from Times Square NYC')... select only 3.5* and higher hotels and then sort by price... what is the least expensive hotel in Manhattan? (as well you can zoom in on the map to see star rating/rates for hotels in the area(s) that you're considering) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
