Pmalli
Are the hotel prices likely to be quite higher during this time because of Independence Day? Will I be able to find better rates if I wait? Link to comment
AaronJB
In terms of purchase timing, that is discussed in detail in the FAQ. What would be your desired budget per night/star rating? Areas differ over 4th of July - some areas are much quieter than normal, some are busier. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. thereuare
If you haven't yet, please start by reading your messages. ...the desired location is Santa Monica. The zones on both PRICELINE and HOTWIRE are larger than just Santa Monica (each also includes Marina Del Rey)... are you willing to stay anywhere within the zone boundaries of each service OR are you only willing to stay in the city limits of Santa Monica? Hi, we would like to stay in a 4 star hotel and want to spend up to $200 per night. If you're willing to stay anywhere within the zone, current 4* rates look like you'll need about $210-$230 for a 4* hotel. Do you want to increase or keep your maximum bid at $200 and are you ready to start bidding now? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Pmalli
I am willing to stay within the zone area a it doesn't have to be within the Santa Monica city limits. I am also ready to bid now and have been using your PRICELINE link. I have bidded up to $215 with no success . I don't want to go higher than that. Link to comment
thereuare
Currently there is a 4* offered on PRICELINE EXPRESS (Outdoor Pool, Pets Allowed, Restaurant, Free Parking, Fitness Center) for $245/nite... but using the discount link and code in my signature gives an additional 10% OFF, bringing this to $220/nite, just $5 more than you have already bid. Does this work for your needs? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
