thereuare Posted May 15, 2014 Report Posted May 15, 2014 Welcome to BetterBidding! Treasure Island would be my best guess for this one (with a distant second guess/slight chance of the Mirage) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
heathermcfeather Posted May 16, 2014 Author Report Posted May 16, 2014 I forgot to mention it has a $28/day resort fee...does this offer any clarification? I noticed a lot of them say $25/day
AaronJB Posted May 16, 2014 Report Posted May 16, 2014 The resort fees listed are approximate and aren't really an indicator of a particular property. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted May 16, 2014 Report Posted May 16, 2014 I will add to the above that in Vegas tax is ~11%, so a $25 resort fee comes to $28 after tax, so it could just depend if the hotel is showing the fee before or after taxes. Also, as stated in my post, i believe TI would be much more likely than the Mirage in this instance (based upon what was showing the other day when i looked)... is there something you're looking for and/or would only be interested in one of these properties? heathermcfeather Posted May 22, 2014 Author Report Posted May 22, 2014 our dates are 7/11-7/14 Amenities:FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Suite, Full kitchen, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self service laundry, Internet access, Spa Services, Kitchenette (on the bidding helper hotwire list it says full kitchen)$164/night, normally $226It reads "still gathering reviews"
thereuare Posted May 22, 2014 Report Posted May 22, 2014 Jet Luxury at the Vdara would be my guess for this one. With plenty of other 5* hotels in the $100-$110 range, why the interest in this one given it is nearly 50% more expensive? heathermcfeather Posted May 22, 2014 Author Report Posted May 22, 2014 Just keeping our options open really, and liked the kitchen idea. But probably will go the other route. Thanks for the reply!
