cfprunner Posted July 7, 2005 Author Report Posted July 7, 2005 Beach Area. I want to be close to the Cruise Pier
thereuare Posted July 8, 2005 Report Posted July 8, 2005 The Downtown area is more popular than the Beach area for cruisers... although both are used. The price difference between a 3* and a 4* in the Beach zone is often about $30-$40... what is your budget and we will advise accordingly. cfprunner Posted July 12, 2005 Author Report Posted July 12, 2005 I'd like to be under $100 for a 4* or $70 for a 3*.I also heard about hotels on the waterway that have water shuttles to the pier but I don't know which hotels they are or what zone that is.
thereuare Posted July 12, 2005 Report Posted July 12, 2005 At the 4* level you have four re-bid zones available... if you're not sure of your re-bid zones please read PRICELINE 72 HOURS and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board.Select 4* Beach...Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $92, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $95.If rejected at the 3* level you have one re-bid zone...Bid $55, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $60.(next time you bid for 3* increase each bid by $5, then the next time start over at $50, then increase each by $5 again, and so-on)Any questions feel free to ask.Keep us updated on your progress. cfprunner Posted November 16, 2005 Author Report Posted November 16, 2005 Here are the Amenities:Restaurant(s)Property offers at least one restaurant on the premises; hours and days of operation may vary.Pool(s)Property offers at least one pool area; hours and dates of operation may be seasonal. Fitness CenterGuests have access to exercise equipment; an additional charge may apply.Spa ServicesGuests have access to a spa facility or spa services; an extra charge typically applies. High-speed Internet AccessGuestrooms are equipped with high-speed Internet access; an extra charge may apply.Tennis NearbyProperty is located within walking distance or a short drive of at least one tennis court; an extra charge typically applies. Business CenterGuests have access to business equipment and services; an additional charge may apply. The rate is $150 for a 1 night stay on 01/21/2006. It looks like it could be the Hyatt Pier 66, but.....No golf near-by (how could their not be, this IS FL)Retail Rate is $259 which sounds too cheap for the rack rate at the Hyatt. What I need is a hotel near the cruise port and I was hoping to get one that would let me take the water taxi.
thereuare Posted November 16, 2005 Report Posted November 16, 2005 In all likelihood this is the Pier 66 as it is an exact match for the amenities currently associated with this property. If you go for it let us know how it goes or how we can be of further help.PS- you may also want to check out this site: HotelsByThePier.com Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
