Priceline Hotel: London 4* 17th June

I've been looking for weeks for a hotel for our first night in London on 17th June (the rest of our stay is all booked up with named hotels booked elsewhere), had hoped to get a cheap NYOP or express deal for the first night but the prices seem to be going the wrong way!

 

I've bid up to $175 for Westminster (our preferred location) but no luck.  There is now a 4* in Chelsea on offer on express deals for $218 (which is borderline out of budget, but could do it) but I'm not sure which hotel it is, can anyone advise please?  It's showing as 8 for cust sat but the only amenity showing is free internet.  I've tried to guess where it might be - if it was the Millenium Copthorne then I wouldn't be keen due to location but I'm wondering if there was any chance that it might be myHotel Chelsea,as it also shows as 8 for cust sat - any ideas?  The Millenium looks as though it is a 7.0 on PRICELINE's main site, but I know that it also is a secret hotel on lastminute.com, so I'm wondering if it's maybe just a mistake with guest rating.  I'd previously bid for Chelsea and Mayfair zones in NYOP but would be wary to continue to do so in case I got that hotel, but would continue to do so if it was likely that I would get another hotel.

 

Reason for location is that we need to be at an appointment in Westminster for 0845 the next morning, so somewhere within walking distance would be preferable at that time of the day although a short tube ride would be acceptable too (20 mins max).

However, you can 'safely' be assured that this isn't the Millennium and Copthorne Hotels At Chelsea Football Club (assuming this is the hotel you were hoping to avoid) since this property is currently 7.1 user review rated by PRICELINE and the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer assures you of a hotel of at least 8.0/10.0

Quick update.

Not the best result!

I've been checking for many hours every day for a hotel and decided to go for it today so that I could get my life back! I'd decided on 4.5* in Kensington as I was almost certain that it was the Indigo, where I've stayed several times on business.

The rates went shooting up as I went to book (on hotwire secret hotels) so I booked through Exped.ia instead as the price was loads cheaper for same descriptor and I thought that the hotels were the same as those on Hot.wire.

Boutique hotel, exact same descriptors as HOTWIRE which matched those stated as being for the Indigo. So you can imagine my shock when confirmation came - for Rydges! Anyway, the price was decent enough, location meets my needs perfectly but I guess I'm a bit disappointed that I got it wrong. On the plus side, I can reclaim hours of my life too! I've had great success with NYOP in Vegas and Amsterdam in the past and would not hesitate in using it again. Lesson learned! Thanks for advice.
