Travel Dates 05/25 - 05/27

1. 3.5* Mag Mile-RN, likely Doubletree.

 

2. Seeing a different 3* in this zone for these date/s. However, 

 

3. 3* Mag Mile N-WT. Likely the Four Points.

 

I'll note that I'm also seeing a number of 4*'s within a similar price neighborhood, including a 4* in the River North-NMA area for $76 and a 4.5* for $95. The prices you see may vary slightly.

Yes, it seems like options changed quite a bit from this morning. 

 

I'm not crazy about the 4* Boutique Hotels. I'll probably go with Option#3 (from above) unless there is a way of finding the following, even if I have to pay a little more:

 

-I would like to stay at one of the Embassy Suites in the area

   OR another one with Free Breakfast

 

That may be an unreasonable request - even though there are Free Breakfast option after the search, but the search doesn't allow you to filter for that ammenity.

Unfortunately, I'm not seeing anything with free breakfast downtown when I search for these date/s. The Embassy properties downtown are nice, but unfortunately they have only been seen very rarely over the last year or two. There are some great breakfast options North of the river, such as Xoco and the ever-popular Doughnut Vault.

The EASY VIEW TAB at BiddingHelper.com does allow you to filter by FREE BREAKFAST, but currently there are no results if you're also filtering by one of the Downtown zones (leave all zones selected and filter by FREE BREAKFAST and you'll see the HOTWIRE listings that include this as a listed amenity)

I went with Option #1, which was the Double Tree.  I edited my Dates a bit from 05/24 - 05/27 for $107 per night.

Definitely a sweet deal for this Doubletree property, which is in a very nice location. I'll add that, while I believe views are a paid upgrade at this property, I'd try asking for a higher floor to at least have a better chance at some decent/nice views of the surrounding area. Definitely don't forget Doubletree cookies at check-in.
