only1bb Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 Hi, I'm also looking at the same dates as Lexus but for 5/25 - 5/26. I'm looking for a hotel in downtown gaslamp, but near the marina. I'd be happy with a hotel like the Hilton SD Bayfront or the Grand Hyatt Manchester - 4+ stars, waterfront with outdoor pool. I'm torn between using Priceline's NYOP or Express Deals. Would I be getting hotels from the same selection for both options? I did a search using the site's bidding tool and am liking this particular hotel (which Lexus also listed, I believe):Gaslamp Quarter - Convention Center Rated 8.0 out of 10 (or higher) (4 stars)Free InternetIndoor or Outdoor PoolPets AllowedRestaurantBusiness CenterFitness CenterWhich one could this be? I also see 2 potential hotels on Hotwire. Can you help me find out which hotels they could be also?Gaslamp Quarter - Horton Plaza Area (4 stars)Pet friendly Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s)Restaurant(s) Business Center Internet access Spa ServicesAccessibilityAccessible for the blind4.5/5.0 on TripAdvisorGaslamp Quarter South- Convention Center Area (4 stars)Pet friendly Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s)Restaurant(s) Business Center Internet access Golf NearbyTennis Nearby4.0/5.0 on Trip AdvisorThanks!
AaronJB Posted May 15, 2014 Report Posted May 15, 2014 Welcome to Betterbidding. The Price.line Express listing would be a possible match for the Westin Gaslamp or Andaz, but the former is more likely. For both Hot.wire listings: I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOT.WIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our Bidding.Helper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above?Thank you for using the board's HOT.WIRE or PRICE.LINE links to start your purchases and searches.
only1bb Posted May 15, 2014 Author Report Posted May 15, 2014 Hi I actually used the BiddingHelper.com tool and those are the amenities I got. The hotwire easy view option is not coming up so I got the info from the regular HOTWIRE tab. Do you think the hotwire options are the same as the priceline options? If not what do you expect it to be? Thanks!
