I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOT.WIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our Bidding.Helper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above?

Yes, i believe these to be the same hotel that you're seeing. You can purchase directly from the EASY VIEW tab at BiddingHelper.com, but if you want to see the full amenities at HOTWIRE you need to do the following:

search HOTWIRE (or use the HOTWIRE tab at BiddingHelper.com) and...

• click the offer
• on the next page click the BOOK NOW link
• in the TRIP SUMMARY box click the 'See more' link at the end of the amenities

Best guess for the property above would be the Westin Newport Jersey City.

You're right.  It's indeed The Westin Jersey City Newport.  Thanks a lot for the help!  I used the HOTWIRE link from this site and got it for $88.  The AAA rate from hotel's website for the same date is $220.  Thanks again!

I'm local to and very familiar with this area, let us know if you have any questions regarding your itinerary or visit.

PS- not sure how old your child is, but there is a very nice new park that opened right near this hotel, if you walk north from the hotel about 3 blocks (after you pass Statples but before Target) on the right hand side... there is a carrousel as well as a man-made beach overlooking the skyline.

Thanks for offering help!  Do you know the best way to get to the hotel from EWR using public transporation? I got an email saying rail service to Newark Airport will be suspended during my visit.

2 people; we don't have a car.

Your best option is to take a taxi with a local company for ~$25... you can save a total of $5-$10 dollars with mass transit, but it's not worth the time or hassle, imo. I'll send you a PM with the names of some local companies.
