Scovie Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 Hello! We are looking for a hotel for June 7-12 in New York, but since prices are high, we're considering staying at this property. It's 84$ a night, 90% of Hotwire customers would recommend it and it has a 4/5 review on trip advisor. It has the following amenities: -free parking-free breakfast -free Internet-pet friendly-indoor pool-fitness center-pool-restaurant -fitness centerI believe this is the Quinta inn & Suites Meadowlands, and would take it if it is. There's even another thread that seems to confirm it. My fear comes from the fact that there's another Quinta inn in Clifton with the same amenities in the meadowlands area (and would not want to stay there). Also, on the Hotwire hotel list from this website, it lists the first Quinta inn (the one I want) as a 3 star hotel...Any help would truly be appreciated. Just would like a second opinion before getting it.Thank you in advance!Scovels
thereuare Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 Welcome to BetterBidding! I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? Using this method this is the amenity set i'm seeing for this 2.5* property: Free Parking Complimentary Breakfast Free Internet Pet Friendly Indoor Pool Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking If this is what you're seeing, i'd agree that this looks like the La Quinta Meadowlands and that would be my best guess as well (downgraded since the last time it was reported to the board). This HOTWIRE offer also shows a 4.0/5.0 TA rating, which would exclude it from being the La Quinta Clifton, since that property currently has a 3.0/5.0 TA rating. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
