Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Dallas (Park Central) Embassy Suites Hotel Dallas - Park Central Area

Used the PRICELINE link to book this room.   Word of warning.  We stayed at this Embassy Suites earlier in the year and they charge $10 per DAY per DEVICE for Wif.  Otherwise you have to join their Silver or up Rewards program (which costs money) or book your room on the Hotel site and include Wifi in your booking. So booking on Priceline you are screwed basically.  Plus last time we stayed the bed was pretty horrible.  

I booked via Name Your Own Price in this area thinking we'd get the Wyndam Suites which is a great hotel and one we've gotten on here several times in the past but instead we got this crappy Embassy.   I'll never book in this area again with Name Your Own Price unless it specifically says Free Wifi in the amenities.   In this day and age with laptops and tablets, charging this much for wifi in a hotel is a deal breaker for me given all the other choices out there.

 

So just be warned if you are looking at a 3.5* in the Dallas Park Central area and like to use hotel wifi.

Overall though, reasonable rate for this property given free breakfast and evening reception.

I'll also add that if you travel a lot (and have multiple devices you need to connect), you can invest in a portable wireless router... plugs into the corded internet in the wall, then allows you to allow as many devices as you'd like to router's wireless signal. I haven't shopped for one of these in a long time, but i would think they're probably $25-$30, which could pay for itself in just 1-2 uses depending upon how many devices you need to connect.

I know the above doesn't make the wireless charge any easier to swallow, but it does give an option, and even if you add the wireless charge the $45 room rate, it's probably still less expensive than anything you could book direct (with internet included)
