Based on the rates I'm seeing for these date/s, a 3* in Midtown will likely take more in the $140-150 range (at least, some zone/s are going to be higher than that.) thereuare Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 At current rates i'm doubtful that even $115 will be enough for a 3* hotel. The idea of search MAPS and HOTELS.com (search within '1 mile of Times Square NYC') is that you can easily see hotel rates on the map and the minimum rate for a 3* hotel in the city. This will give you a better idea of what a 'good deal' would be for a hotel for your dates... rather than what you think a hotel should cost (or what you want to pay). HOTWIRE has a 3* hotel for $168 offered for your dates but it has a very low 45% recommendation from previous guests... after that i think you're in the $175-$195 to get something decent.
