pietc Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 Second time I'm using Hotwire and the first time I managed to succesfully identify a hotel in San Simeon.Right now I'm looking for Vegas but can't seem to identify one of these two. I've been searching for a 5-star hotel on the north or south area of the strip for the following dates: june 8th 2014 - june 11 2014 and based on 3 adults in 1 room.I found 2 options that looks good and which are not 2 expensive. Both have a 95% recommended rate.First one is located south of the stripCosts 135$ (was $234) a night ex. 25$ resort fee and has the following amenities:Free ParkingResortCasinoFitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterInternet accessGolf NearbySpa ServicesAccessible for the blindAccessible for the deafAccessible path of travelIn-room accessibilityAccessible bathroomHandicapped parkingRoll-in Shower Second one located north of the stripCosts 128$ (was $226) a night ex. 25S resort fee and has the following amenities:Free ParkingCasinoFitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterInternet accessGolf NearbyTennis NearbySpa ServicesAccessible for the deafAccessible path of travelIn-room accessibilityAccessible bathroomHandicapped parkingRoll-in shower

pietc Posted May 12, 2014 Author Report Posted May 12, 2014 Thanks for replying. Only thing is that Aria has a resort fee of 28$ so I guess it can't be it? And also, will I get 2 double/queen beds? Aria for example (when comparing with Hotels.com) has an option for a "crib" when selecting 3 adults and Wynn only lists a single king bed. On the Wynn site itself it says that when having 3 adults in 1 room with king bed, there will be surcharge of 50$ for an extra adult.
AaronJB Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 If you search for four people, you should get some form of bedding for the group. This could mean two beds, 1 + sofa or 1 + rollaway. Resort fee showing on the listing is approximate, not the exact fee. This is not a reliable indicator of a particular property. The Wynn does also have rooms with two double beds, so that would be a possibility. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 Some hotels list their resort fee before taxes, other list it after taxes... in Vegas $25 before taxes comes to $28 after taxes, which is why you'll see quite a few hotels in Vegas list one of these two figures. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or how we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
