The rates are very high this weekend and this seems like a great rate especially for 4 star. Just not sure how easy it is using public transportation or walking to get to the loopThank you

nlsnlink Posted May 9, 2014 Author Report Posted May 9, 2014 Thank you. I did post my wins. Hope you can respond to this post
AaronJB Posted May 9, 2014 Report Posted May 9, 2014 If you click on the listing, then click on "book now" on the detail page, then click on "see all", do you also see "internet" in addition to "free internet"? If so, my guess would be the Hyatt McCormick. In terms of walkable, it really depends on what you consider "walkable". You could, but it would be a really long walk. I'd go over to the lakefront and then up the lakefront and once you get to around Congress/Buckingham fountain, walk West into the Loop. It would be a pleasant route on a nice day, but really not a short one. The Metra Electric stops at McCormick and I'd take that North. There is nothing much at all directly around this Hyatt. I have noticed on several date/s that this Hyatt is substantially cheaper than downtown options, but there is the downside of not really having anything around it and having to take transit or a long (but certainly pretty) walk along the lake.to get downtown. If the savings are worthwhile and you don't mind the negatives, it's certainly a more reasonable option. If you stay here and do stay out late, I'd say take a taxi back. nlsnlink Posted May 9, 2014 Author Report Posted May 9, 2014 Yes. Free internet is included in the listing. Thanks for the info. I will pass on this one and keep trying.

nlsnlink Posted May 12, 2014 Author Report Posted May 12, 2014 I would like to stay in either the Millenium Loop Zone or River North preferably. Could do Mag Mile as well. Want to stay under $100 which looks impossible for June 7th. I was able to get The Westin Michigan through priceline (using betterbidding link) for June 8th at $90 but it will not allow me to add an extra night at same rate. So still trying to see if I can get something for june 7th. Will be spending most of time in Printers Row on Saturday June 7th. Thanks for the help
AaronJB Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 Please post the Westin win as a separate thread. 6/7 unfortunately looks significantly more difficult - would $100 be your max for that night? Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
