Priceline Hotel: New York City - May 28 to June 3

Hi Everyone,

 

 

2 of us looking to visit New York from May 28 - June 3. Budget is <$150 and looking for an area that is 10-15 mins from a subway station. I'm not too sure about the zones, but anything on the manhattan island is fine (do i need to be a little more specific here and pick some zones?)

If possible a 4* rating but if not 3* would be my minimum. I also see you posting about the small rooms in the Hudson hotel and no I wouldn't want that either.

A 4* for $150 may be a little bit of a reach, although not too far out of your grasp as i think $160-$180 would be a bit more likely/realistic.

At the 3* level HOTWIRE has what appears to be the NH Jolly Madison for $146/nite... not the best reviews, but it's passable and within budget, but not sure if you'd rather spend the extra $25/nite or so for a higher rated hotel.

Let us know your thoughts as to how you'd like to proceed and what you'd like to try first:

-4* hotel up to $150

-4* hotel up to $180 (or some other amount higher than $150)

-3.5* or 3* hotel up to $150
