Priceline Hotel: Need help near Miami Beach Convention Center on 12/9-12/12

I'm asking for help from thereuare suggestion in another thread.

I have checked SkyAuction and found Courtyard By Marriott South Beach with winning bids around $60 + $32 tax and fees. I'm looking for something 3* or more that is within walking distance (no more then half mile give or take) from the convention center. I'm renting a car since I'm flying into FLL. I prefer not to rent a car and take a cab to SOBE area but I need the cab since checkout is around 12pm and my flight doesn't leave till 7:30PM at FLL so I need somewhere to store my luggage while I can still hang out at SOBE area until maybe 4:30PM or so on 12/12. I'm worried with Priceline and Hotwire that I might get a hotel that isn't walking distance from the Convention anymore. Any help or suggestions? I'm just learning about priceline and hotwire on how it works. Sorry for this long post.

As discussed in your other thread, you need to be flexible when using the opaque services... that is the trade-off for the deeply discounted rates we are usually able to receive. If you absolutely need to be within walking distance of the convention center than the opaque providers may not be your best solution... there are (i presume) areas within the zone that are not within a half of mile of the convention center. If you know the location of the convention center, take a look at our Priceline Hotel Map for Miami.

Where exactly is the Convention Center? (we'll then take a look at what's offered on Hotwire to see if there is anything offered nearby)

I would also suggest EasyClickTravel

and QUIKBOOK which often have decent deals in this area for when you need a particular hotel or location.
