thereuare Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 Welcome to BetterBidding! Note that in the CPS is the Hudson Hotel, which while well located, has notoriously small rooms... would this be an acceptable outcome? Please confirm and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
abeillee Posted May 3, 2014 Author Report Posted May 3, 2014 Oh thanks. I would then prefer not to stay at the Hudson hotel!
thereuare Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 So to confirm, MTE and MTW at the only two zones you want to bid? (TS, MSG, ESB, and Chelsea are other popular zones that are frequently bid at the 4* level... are any of these acceptable for your needs?) Let us know the above and we'll advise accordingly. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. thereuare Posted May 4, 2014 Report Posted May 4, 2014 When bidding 4* in NYC you have ONE re-bid zone. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding. amandasaver Posted May 8, 2014 Report Posted May 8, 2014 Is this a good strategy for bidding June 5th-7th? I need a room with 2 beds, 4*, and those areas and prices are good for me. Thank you.
AaronJB Posted May 8, 2014 Report Posted May 8, 2014 Is this a good strategy for bidding June 5th-7th? I need a room with 2 beds, 4*, and those areas and prices are good for me.Welcome to Betterbidding. :) Please start a new thread for your stay with the details (acceptable budget per night, zone/s and star rating) and we would be happy to offer our thoughts. Additionally, PRICELINE only guarantees 1 bed/double occupancy and nowhere is that more true than NYC. If you bid for one room, there's a very high risk that you'll end up with one bed. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

yellowdog Posted July 20, 2014 Report Posted July 20, 2014 Please keep all posts in the same thread since posts are for the same stay. Best guess would be The Lexington New York City. Please post to the board in USD. Just change the drop down menu on the top right of HOT.WIRE page to United States and the currency dropdown to US Dollars. Then continue to search HOT.WIRE and post to the board in US Dollars so that rates are consistent and not subject to interpretation due to future currency fluctuation. Once you're ready to purchase stay on the US version of their site and simply change the drop down menu to whatever currency you'd like to use and complete your purchase. Keep us updated on your progress and let us know what you ultimately decide or if we can be of further help. Please use the PRICELINE and hot.wire links on the board to begin your purchases and searches. Yellowdog.
