Priceline Hotel: Seeking luxury dt Chicago hotel

I found a mystery luxury deal on bookit.com for $109/night (regular $272) but I know nothing about Chicago and I am hesitant to opt for this deal. Says it's 4.5 star on the Loop.

I'm traveling with my husband and son (5 yrs) so we want to be in the centre of the action, somewhere super comfortable with easy access to everything.

Any help out there to identify the mystery hotel or direct me to another?

I'm not familiar with bookit.com, but looking around for 6/10-15, I'm not seeing a listing for $109 for these date/s. I'd be a little surprised if that deal is available, as rates are definitely high for these date/s and $109 seems unlikely, especially for a 4.5*. On Hot.wire, I'm seeing 4-4.5* properties downtown around $220-260. Price.line Express is fairly similar with 4*'s around $200 and a 4.5* for $265.

Thanks for your help. Okay, so after some research I know the hotel I want to stay at and would like to book via PRICELINE or HOTWIRE with a mystery deal (to save money obviously) but I am wondering if you can help me determine which mystery deal is that hotel. My first choice is Doubletree on the Magnificent MIle (b/c they have an outdoor pool) and my second choice is the Crowne Plaza, also downtown in that area. Again, b/c of pool.

Can you help me?

I'm pretty sure this is the Doubletree, but I could be wrong.

Wish they specific OUTDOOR pool in the amenities, but the fact that they've listed indoor pool, and then an extra "Pool" makes me think that this second pool is an outdoor one.

The 3.5 star rating is the biggest indicator.

Links to listings do not work (they are only for that particular session on Hot.wire)

Please provide the amenities showing with the listing (click on the listing) and we would be happy to take a look and try to ID.

For each hotel, in the same post, please include the star rating, zone, room rate per nite, and amenities associated with this property as this will make it easier for us to locate and research the hotel.

Is the 3.5* property you're seeing located in the Mag Mile - River North zone? If so, what is the room rate? Also, I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? Using this method this is the amenity set i'm seeing for the 3.5* hotel in this zone when searching for 2adults/1child for your dates:

Free Internet

Indoor Pool

Fitness

Pool

Restaurant

Business

Laundry

Hi-Speed Internet

Blind Accessible

Deaf Accessible

Travel Accessible

Room Accessible

Bathroom Accessible

Handicapped Parking

Roll-in Shower

... if this is what you're seeing, the Doubletree would be a possibility, but an upgrade of the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza since it was last reported to the board would be my best guess for this one.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.

I'd agree with the guess on the Holiday Inn MP.

Also, while outdoor pool is nice, indoor gives the flexibility if it rains and outdoor really limits you to a couple of properties.

Thanks for your help so far, guys.

It doesn't give me any more amenities than I've listed above.

It's saying $185 CAD (regular $294)

It says the brands may include: Crowne Plaza, Sheraton, Hilton, Hyatt, Club Quarters

4/5 rating on tripadvisor

I forgot to mention... It's 3.5 stars, on Magnificent Mile/North River area.

Still think it's Holiday Inn?

If you click on the listing, then click "book now", then on the next page click "see all" in the little amenities box, do you see the list of amenities as noted above?

I'd also lean towards it more likely being the Holiday Inn.
