any of the 2 1/2 or 3* (that's all they basically have) last year at about the same time I think I got it for like $60 and ended up at the crown plaza if I remember right. Wondering where I should be bidding/looking this time.

We will suggest a strategy for whatever star rating and maximum bid you'd like, but if you're only bidding PRICELINE's 'St. Paul' zone, at current rates i think you'll likely need to be bidding in the $75-$85 area to be successful.

Are you willing to pay more for a 3* vs. a 2.5* OR is the goal the least expensive 2.5* or better for this stay?

There is the possibility that your 2.5* bid could be upgraded to 3*... would this be acceptable?

unfortunately due to a last minute scheduling conflict I did not go... Ironically since I'm the one who usually takes care of setting up the rooms for everyone, they all ended up staying all over and I guess some had some pretty bad experiences.
