RammsteinNicCage Posted April 30, 2014 Report Posted April 30, 2014 Just won this hotel. The amenity list includes Free Parking, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self service laundry, Internet access, Golf Nearby, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower. For the total trip, with taxes and fees, it came out to $698.85 (as opposed to $122.95/night [$1,001.82 for the stay] if booked through Holiday Inn). So, I'm very happy with my savings and got the hotel I was pretty sure I was purchasing. Seems like June is a very expensive time to go to Chicago... rates looked significantly lower in July in the heart of Chicago which is where I would have preferred to stay. Ah well, can't modify the Mets schedule to suit me.

patch4269 Posted May 7, 2014 Report Posted May 7, 2014 I am in the same situation for similar dates. I always have stayed on the mag mile, yet prices during this period are insane. Is the HI O' hare a newer property??
AaronJB Posted May 7, 2014 Report Posted May 7, 2014 The HI O'Hare is not a newer property, although it was renovated a couple of years ago. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
