Hotwire Hotel: 3.5* Newark (Airport EWR) Holiday Inn

I used the link at the top of the better bidding page to find this Hot.wire hotel in EWR. 3 1/2 stars at the airport.

 

May 1st for one night at $96 plus the usual and exorbitant taxation without representation local fees. $120 and change out the door.

 

Won the deal on April 27th.  The price went up $3 either overnight or after this win.  Availability was at 6 rooms before my purchase.

I've seen the hotels getting more creative with amentities to obfuscate which hotel is connected to the bid.  I certainly did not expect this one to be the Holiday Inn!

 

Good Luck fellow bidders, don't forget to start early and give yourself plenty of rebid time in case free rebid zones are difficult.  Also who has won a good bid really close in to the arrival date?  Tips and strategies would be welcomed.
