FOr 6/23-6/26 showing a 4* for $201 in the Magnificent Mile-Water Tower Area. Amenities: Indoor Pool, Restaurant, Fitness center, business center, internet access. Any guesses? I was thinking the Omni?

Actually, after more research I think it is the Hyatt. Probably not that great of a deal. When is the best time to book with Hotwire for end of June travel? Is it better to do it now or wait a few more weeks?

Welcome to Betterbidding. :)

Are you still seeing this listing when searching? If so, are you searching for more than 2 adults?

I'm seeing different listings in the 4* spot when searching for these date/s.

I'd guess the 4* in the Mag Mile N-WT is the Hyatt Mag Mile, which I think is a very nice hotel in a great location right off Michigan Ave.

This is in the middle of the busy Summer period, so while there is no guarantee that rates will not come down, given traditional traffic during this period and the rise in traffic in general in the last few years, you have to be prepared that it may not. Rates can also definitely go up closer to the stay and may do so suddenly.

Are you looking for something in particular in terms of hotel (style, location, amenities?) I see some interesting options around the same rate but those may not have a pool.

We are mostly set on wanting to be more towards the river instead of the water tower (unless we can get a good deal on the omni because of the benefit of having a suite with the kids) because it is more central to millenium park and navy pier. My husband and I stayed at the conrad and loved that location we were just hoping to find a good deal on a hotel with a pool but it is not necessary. If we could find a good deal on the conrad, we would be willing to go that route. I would love to find the Intercontinental or the marriott mag mile...but neither of those are showing (as far as I can tell) in the secret deals. Homewood suites and Omni would also be considered because of the suites.

When searching for 2 adults and 2 children, I see a 4.5* in the Mag Mile-River North area w/Free Internet,Pet friendly,Fitness Center,Restaurant(s),Business CenterI,nternet access,Spa Services,Accessible for the blind,Accessible for the deaf,Accessible path of travel,In-room accessibility,Accessible bathroom,Handicapped parking,Roll-in shower for $195 (the price you see may vary slightly.) This is the a possible match for the James, which is definitely very close to both the Intercontinental and Conrad.
