Hotwire Hotel: Need Help - Budapest 5*

hi,

any suggestions which hotel is currently bidding in Priceline name your own price/express deal?

same for hotwire.

In price line the 5* hotel is rated 7+ which is low for the area so I am not sure about this booking.

When bidding on PRICELINE, the 'Guaranteed Amenities' are amenities available at every hotel in the zone at that star level, and the user review rating is the minimum user review rating in the zone at that star level... neither is indicative of a specific property that you would be bidding on (in fact, at this point in the bidding price PRICELINE hasn't even checked inventory for your dates yet)

For the PRICELINE EXPRESS and/or HOTWIRE hotels, what are the room rates and amenities associated with the hotel(s) offered on each when searching for your dates? What are the dates of your stay? What is your maximum budget for a 5* hotel?

Hi,

We are traveling on the 30.5-5.6 (6 nights).

PRICELINE EXPRESS offer 5* for 195$ including breakfast excluding taxes - rate 9.0

Our budget is 200$ including breakfast and taxes, however we wish to stay in the center of pest and PRICELINE doesn't offer sub divisions to pest area.

HOTWIRE is offering 5* for 956$ total for 6 nights rate 90% recommendation.

We are traveling with a baby so we don't want to stay too far from the center.

What do you think?

Hot.wire currently has a lot more Budapest zones than Price.line, so allows one to pick areas right in the city core.  You might want to stick with Hot.wire.

 

Have you found the Hotel Lists yet?  In the header above.  Click on it, select "Other Countries" in either the Priceline and Hotwire lists, and then click on Budapest.  You can see all the hotels other members have reported to this site as successful bids.

I'm not currently seeing this property offered when searching HOTWIRE for your dates... are you still seeing the above on your own search? If so, are you searching HOTWIRE for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults/0children?

I am seeing the 4.5* hotel and my best guess for this one would be the Queen's Court Hotel and Residence.
