I am just wanting some help to identify this hotel if possible.  I thought maybe it was the Inn of Chicago...but just curios what someone more experiences would think

Includes:

Fitness Center - Business Center - Internet access Accessibility
In-room accessibility - Roll-in shower

It is 70% recommended.

I appreciate your help!

Welcome to Betterbidding.

I'd lean towards this being Inn of Chicago. What would be your desired budget per night for this stay? I'm seeing a number of nicer options for similar/not too much more. Is the River North area the only area of interest?

Thanks for the reply Aaron.

I am actually interested in anything within about 20 bucks or so of this.  I just wasn't sure how to ask the same question for multiple listings.  We need to stay in the few areas around Navy Pier as we are wanting to walk the area.

One recommendation is to really not devote a lot of time to Navy Pier. I just feel like Navy Pier is expensive for what it is and doesn't offer anything really that memorable (a lot of booths selling souvenirs and an expensive McDonalds), aside from the views (and a stained glass museum that happens to be in the pier is impressive, although it feels completely random and out of place in Navy Pier.)  There's the rides, but they're expensive and brief. I've wished that they would re-think Navy Pier for years and hopefully a planned renovation for this year will address some of the issues as Navy Pier *could* be something great. For now, I still just think it's a tourist trap.

Additionally, there are great views elsewhere along the lake, such as from the Museum Campus (by the Adler Planetarium and Shedd Aquarium) or from Oak Street Beach, among other spots.

Lincoln Park, which offers a lot of restaurants, the Zoo (free) and the nearby Old Town area (Second City) is - to me - a better alternative. There's also a ton of great restaurants and bars in River North. Or try one of the boat tours that leave from either side of the Michigan Ave. bridge.

In terms of walking, it depends on how far you want to walk, but I've walked from River North up through the Gold Coast and to the zoo on many occasions. It's a bit of a trek, but it's a pleasant one and the route is definitely straightforward.

On HOTWIRE for 7/25-28, I'm seeing a 4* for $127 (you may see a slightly diff price) in the River North/NMA area w/Pet friendly,Indoor pool(s),Smoke Free Rooms,Fitness Center,Pool(s),Restaurant(s),Business Center,Internet access. This would likely be the Sheraton.

I'm also seeing a 4.5* in the same zone for $153 that would appear to be the Intercontinental.

You could also bid on PRICELINE and get a 4* for less, but you would have to be willing to accept any of the 4*'s in the zone.

Let us know what sounds of interest and we would be happy to offer further suggestions on how to proceed. Please let us know if you have any questions before booking (and if you have any Chicago questions, as well.)
