For both hotels, I believe there may have been more amenities than you listed in your post. HOTWIRE has a new interface which is not currently showing the complete set of amenities at the usual point of the search process.

... if this is what you're now seeing my best guess for this one would be the Grand Hotel Mediterraneo (if you're not seeing this offer but are interested in this property let us know and i may be able to provide a link to this selection)

For the 3* my guess would be the Hotel Machiavelli Palace.
